1. I ate our first balcony-grown strawberries of the year.
2. I made Sarah's orange cake again. It's still in the oven.
3. I'm super proud of my mum, who has been teaching and exhibiting all over Europe recently.
4. I started this list yesterday but got distracted, so I'm finishing it today.
5. I spend way too much time helping my smurfs get a better village on the iPad.
6. I love warm, sunny weather like we've had today.
7. I've been (thanks to Mart) listening to a whole lot of 'mash-ups' (for cool examples, see here and here).
8. I like sweets better than savoury stuff.
9. I should start reading a new book.
10. For the long weekend ahead, I wish we could go back to the second house from the left on the photo below...
1. I like grape-flavoured stuff (and this drink in particular).
2. I'm sad Joanna left Maastricht...
3. I'm very excited to show you what we received from the States (but you'll have to wait until tomorrow).
4. I've just spent two very fun team-event days with my colleagues - I'm so lucky to be part of such a wonderful group!
5. On my list of things to do before I die, I can now cross off "playing in an indoor snowfield".
6. And also "participating in a sumo wrestle" (or actually in this case a fat snowman wrestle).
7. I can't wait to watch the finale of Project Runway Season 8. I am very disappointed with the outcome of the finale.
8. I'm very happy we can sleep one extra hour tomorrow morning thanks to daylight saving.

10. I'm really sad Joanna left Maastricht...
1. I have been attacked by a pretty voracious mosquito the other night: I have three very itchy bites.
2. I met Mel yesterday. She was the very first person I met through blogging.
3. I don't like coffee. (But I like coffee-flavoured things.)
4. I can't wait to go to Denmark for the very first time.
5. I'm going to be sad not to be able to chat with Joanna at work anymore.
6. But I'm glad we won't be far away and we will see each other at other times.
7. I feel too lazy to do the dishes tonight. But did them anyway.
8. I want to invent a teleporting machine that takes you to see the people you love and miss.
9. I also want to invent a machine that holds heat in during the summer and then gives it back when it's too cold, in winter. And it would also be able to do the opposite: take a bit of the cold during winter and give it back when it's boiling hot.
10. I love sweets. These are the ones I'm eating now.
