I tried making popsicles with blueberry juice this weekend. They weren't amazing to be honest, so we plopped them into our juice-maker (without the wooden sticks of course) and made fluffy orange-blueberry-ginger juice. That was much nicer! :-)
I haven't made any fresh juices for a while... I should really get back to it.
This one was from last year.
Not the most successful juice so far. Probably because the melon was a bit too ripe.:-)But definitely a pretty colour!

I added a tiny bit of vanilla sugar and lime juice to the main fruits in this one; it was deee-lish!
Sarah's in Dublin.Gavin's in Australia. And we'll be in Germany in a little while, thinking of both of them on their birthdays.Someone invent a tele-transporter soon, please? P.S. the 'jus du jour' is nothing new (my favourite raspberry-orange) but I put it in a bottle to bring it to the party we are going to, and it looked all pink and pretty, so I couldn't resist taking a few photos!
I definitely like the juicy drinks better, but the recent milky / yogurty ones were nice too.
Don't worry, I'm not going to start posting juices every day! But that being said, we have been drinking home made juice daily since we came back and we love them. I am making up recipes as we go, and some have turned out 'really-good' and some 'medium-good'. This one tasted great for example, but the frozen blackberries (at least this batch) had fairly big and hard seeds which were not very pleasant when you got to the bottom of your drink. Will remember to use a sieve when pouring it into glasses next time.
We went to visit little Marten today - what a cutie!

Frozen raspberries and apples from my parents' garden. And a bit of orange juice.
We got a really cool juicer / smoothie maker for Xmas, and I'm looking forward to try different recipes. So... get ready for lots of juices updates!
Today's 'jus du jour' was orange-mandarine-kiwi.
