Hello everyone!I hope you're all having a lovely Sunday. Here a few rays of sun have appeared after a morning of crazy rain... everything is still really wet but it's good to see some light again! Today I've decided to try something new; I'm quite curious to see what will come out of it!
:-)
From now on, and from time to time, I will offer one-off items for sale on this blog. The idea is to send some of the things I make off to greener pastures. I love creating stuff but cannot possibly keep them all for myself!
Here's the first item I am putting up for sale. It's actually a set of three. Three adorable hand-printed little onesies which you might remember from this guest post.
Fancy buying them?
Just click on the button below!
I've been doing more bleach printing. Some motifs were more successful than others. This one is one of my favourites, especially when it moves in the breeze...

My favourite little Matilda turned four yesterday, and I made her a present in her favourite colour: pink. (And as I'm sure you could have guessed, I had to make it neon pink because, well... as we have already assessed the other day, I'm completely obsessed!).
I bought a cute little belt which I coupled with a simple white t-shirt and a matching pompon broach and hairclip that I made for her. The pompons are so easy (and fun) to make! I've been using this technique ever since i saw it on Creature Comforts; it works perfectly.
P.S. Just in case you didn't believe my obsession with neon, go check out my toe nails, candles, striped top, necklace, garland, and tea towel. Aarg!
Hi again everyone! It's been a little quiet over here lately; sorry... I've kind of been feeling like there are never enough hours in a day (I'm sure you all know exactly what I mean) and so I haven't been at the computer half as much as I usually am.But it's been good busy though, don't get me wrong! We've been on a lovely long weekend in London last week, and I have lots of photos to show you.

And during the weekend we happened upon a DavidDavid boutique. It was my first encounter with this London-based fashion designer, and I was in complete awe. As you can see, it fits with the theme perfectly!

I quite like my cold-weather clothes and so I don't mind the temperatures we have currently over here in the Netherlands (it really hasn't rained much this fall, so it's been surprisingly bearable), but when seeing this photo just then, I really wished it was nice and warm for a little while.Usually autumn and winter are ok, because we know we'll be flying to the southern hemisphere early in the new year, and we just hang on until then to see the sun... but this year we'll have to deal with the dreary weather all the way through as we are staying on the cold side of the planet for the whole season. Better get used to it and embrace the ugg boots and scarves then!P.S. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving over here, but today I am especially aware of how wonderfully lucky I am. I definitely tend to take things for granted a little too much, and it's nice to stop and think about it all from time to time.
My friend had her birthday a few weeks ago, and I printed her this cloudy top.
Happy birthday Morgane!
I liked the mini version that I made for Rosalie so much that I decided I had to have one too.
I just couldn't resist a pair of these colourful gumboots for autumn... lucky there weren't' that many choices in my size anymore, otherwise I think I would never have managed to settle for one single pair - they are all so delicious! (I went for celadon).
Wow, how amazing is this list of colour names!?
Photos from here.
I took part in a fun fashion show evening at my old work the other day. Almost all of us who walked down the catwalk had never done anything like it before, but we had an absolute blast!
I brought back a yellow kangaroo to keep me warm, all the way from Australia. I know it's pretty touristy and a bit tacky (especially because it's a Ken Done) but... I love it!
