USA 2013 | Astoria, Oregon


After spending a beautiful week in Seattle we started driving South into Oregon. We stopped for the night right after crossing the state border, in Astoria. There we marveled at the incredible bridge we had just crossed (and which we could see from our hotel room) and had the most delicious burger at Fort George Public House.

USA 2013 | Museum of Flight


The nerd below was pretty much as exited as it gets during our visit of the Museum of Flight. We got to go aboard a Concord, an old Air Force Once, and saw lots and lots (and lots!) of planes. It was a fun way to escape the rain for a few hours.

USA 2013 | Seattle public library


 
I knew the Seattle public library was supposed to be a beautiful building but gosh was I impressed! I spent ages walking around, just taking in the light and feeling so happy that such pretty and well thought-out places exist in the world.

The insides of a hill



Today we cycled across the border and visited this fort. It's an impressive place; so very big, quite scary, and full of history.
