No photos of presents yet. We set our alarms at 2 last night to order something very special for our birthdays... it will take a little while until it arrives but we are super excited!
I don't buy apps very often, but I'm so glad I got this one. It's a really fun game, and so pretty! And there's no risk of ever getting bored as the hills you jump and slide on change every day, showing hundreds of different patterns and colours.
My colleague Severine taught me to put a bit of rice and some water inside a bottle and to shake it vigorously in order to clean the inside well. Together with a bit of soap, some baking soda and a bit of vinegar I managed to perfectly clean this old bottle we had bought in an antique shop, and we can now use it for fancy drinks.
I also used other bottles we had around for these pretty flowers - feels like spring!
A while ago I found some self-adhesive blackboard sheet which works perfectly to make wall stickers. I had made animals for my cousins and friends for xmas, but wanted something a little more fun and geeky for my little brother's birthday. Space Invader it was!
After seeing this post and hearing all about my mum's workshop, I couldn't resist to get a potato out, a sharp little knife, some paint and paper, and to get printing!
I finally got myself some proper running shoes, recommended by a specialist who filmed my feet while I was running on a treadmill (!) to find the ones that best fitted me. I don't find the shoes very pretty, but hey, they are running shoes after all. And they will be way better for my ankles and knees than my old ones. So, I didn't fall in love with the shoes when I saw them, but when I saw the box, I was sold! I love companies that take care of details like that.
I just checked their website, and really loved their tv ads too. Click on the second one 'They're both really cute' - that's my favourite.
Oh, and next time I go running, I'll add this song to my play list. It reminds me of being at Manly beach with Ben.
A few shots of a hot and sunny day in Fremantle as we rounded up our beautiful trip down under... We shopped at B&M, a fabulous new little shop.
We had delicious frozen yogurt.
And we spent precious moments with Lesley, Mad, and Gavin.
We saw lots of adorable little frogs at the farmhouse... that one had jumped into a basket filled with toilet paper rolls.
:-)
P.S. It's my little brother's birthday today - Happy birthday Fabien!! The present I sent hasn't arrived to its destination yet, so I'll post photos later.
