Little bracelets

I made these little bracelets the other day following this tutorial by Honestly WTF. I wanted something very light for the summer, so I chose tiny little beads and picked up some colourful nylon threads at the local craft store.

I wasn't the only one to be inspired by these braided bracelets recently: click here to see the pretty ones my friend Claire from Fellow Fellow made a couple of weeks ago.

  3. Wow, these bracelets turned out great! Love the colours. I saw the Honestly WTF tutorial too, but haven't got the right material yet to try it myself.

    1. Hi Sonja!
I saw on your blog that you tried to make a similar bracelet with big wooden beads... I would recommend smaller ones, as it will be much easier to keep them in the right spot.
      :-)
You could also give it a go with hardware store material (see here). :-) These ones work out great too!

    1. Hi Dhini,
Thank you for your nice words!

I bought the colourful nylon thread at a craft store we have here in The Netherlands called Pipoos. They had three colours, namely blue, bright yellow and pink.
Let me know if you can find it!

    3. Dear Dhini,
I'm sorry to hear they didn't have the colourful ones... I'm sure it will look great with clear thread though!
Looking forward to seeing your creations tomorrow.
      :-)
