We had hoped to get into the Rain Room at MoMA but that was without scheduling in the 3.5 hour wait. Since we had to go to the airport in the early afternoon we settled with wandering around the permanent collection and the current Le Corbusier one. It felt slightly strange to be so far away from home and to be looking at maps of La Chaux-de-Fonds, a city just around the corner from where my parents live in Switzerland, but it was a really cool show.
Once we landed in Seattle we picked up our rental car and drove north past the city into Boeing country (more on that tomorrow)... the evening light was beau-ti-ful.
