I've been going through lots of my photos for work this afternoon and these two caught my eye as I was scrolling down in iphoto... they date back to our beautiful weekend in Paris in November.
It's the 28th already, almost the end of the month, and we are yet to have a full week of real summer weather.
Maybe we'll get a lovely autumn? I really hope so.

Did you know you could make a loud speaker for your iPhone with an empty box of Pringles? We tried after reading about it on the weekend - works like a charm!
:-)

Voice is back. Not completely but almost.
And the weather has been brilliant this weekend. Makes me very happy!
I feel a bit of a void today.
Because my voice is missing. It kind of disappeared a few days ago and is yet to make a complete come back.
But mostly because my 24 students from all over the world, who I have been taking care of since early April, have left today to move on to their new universities... The last four months have been exhausting at times but so rewarding... I am going to miss them all greatly.
Our tickets for a weekend of sun and heat are booked. Hip. Hip. Hip. Hooray!
I don't expect the beaches in the heel of Italy to be quite like this one (this was in Western Australia in February) but I just cannot wait to see them. And to feel the sun on my skin again. Oh, I'm so excited!!
A year ago today we were setting foot in Denmark for the first time ever. It was the beginning of one the most fantastic holidays ever. I wish we were there again today.
I want sun.
I want heat.
I want summer.
Now.
No more rain.
No more wearing winter clothes in August.
And maybe a beach. Yeah, i want a beach too. Now.

Our friends Marta and Joe got married today - we gave them a kit for a romantic day together in the country side; we found a cute basket which we filled with a checkered picnic blanket, champagne glasses and polka-dot napkins, and a voucher for a whole day of riding together on a cute vespa.Congratulations to the newly-weds! We wish you an eternity of happiness together.
Too bad the content wasn't as nice as the packaging... :-)
I went straight to the hardware store after seeing this post.
I'm quite happy with the result but will try again with bigger nuts.
:-)
